The choice of baseboard affects the durability, maintenance and final look of a space. Made of high-density XPS, EPSILON baseboards offer moisture resistance, a variety of designs and efficient installation for residential, commercial and institutional projects.
The baseboard is also part of the architecture
When you specify a project, the joint between floor and wall is not a secondary decision. The baseboard protects surfaces, organizes the space and supports the material language of the entire building.
In homes, offices, hotels or commercial spaces, the right choice improves the durability of the finishes and preserves the quality of the project over time.
This approach reflects a broader trend in architecture: the baseboard is no longer seen as a simple protective line but as another element of the design language, with the same weight as a wall covering or joinery.
What makes EPSILON different from a traditional baseboard?
A wood or MDF baseboard can swell, peel away, grow mold or attract insects over time, especially in environments with constant humidity. EPSILON baseboards do not share those weaknesses: they are made of high-density polystyrene, with water resistance, anti-mold protection and anti-insect properties, in addition to high resistance to impact, tearing and scratches.
The other difference is the finish: the manufacturing process can reproduce textures such as natural wood with a level of detail that a traditional painted finish cannot achieve.
Why specify EPSILON baseboards
Resistant to moisture, impact and scratches: it does not warp or crack.
Low maintenance.
Paintable and wood-look models, to suit any project palette.
Lightweight and easy to install.
5-year warranty.
Which line to choose for your project
EPSILON baseboards are organized into different lines, each designed for a specific type of project and visual effect:
Line | Ideal for | Feature |
|---|---|---|
Line | Homes and offices | Minimalist profile |
Extra Line | Contemporary spaces | Greater visual presence |
Plain | Warm environments | Smooth surface |
Round | Residential environments | Rounded-edge profile |
Curves | Residential projects | Soft, curved lines |
Pecho Paloma | Traditional design projects | Progressively curved edges, dynamism and volume |
Reforma Line | Remodels | Covers existing baseboards up to 8 cm without removing them |
Maxi Line | Hotels and institutional | Greater height and presence |
Square | Homes and stores | Can be used as a baseboard or counter frame |
Cuarta Caña | Any project | Protects the corner between wall and floor |
Where EPSILON is used
Thanks to its resistance to moisture and impact, EPSILON is used in homes, hotels, offices, stores, educational institutions and health care spaces, solving environments where traditional materials such as MDF or wood would require more maintenance.
How it is installed
EPSILON can be installed with ATRIM Fixing Clips or Pro-Fix Adhesive, two solutions designed to make installation easier and achieve more precise finishes. Its low weight simplifies handling and speeds up work on site.
The Square and Reforma Line models are the exception: they are installed with adhesive only and do not accept clips, so it is worth keeping this in mind when planning the installation.
To see the complete process, from surface preparation to the final finish, this video walks through the installation of EPSILON baseboards step by step:
Choosing the right baseboard is not a minor detail: it is a decision that supports the durability, maintenance and look of a project for years. With the variety of lines, finishes and installation systems of EPSILON baseboards, that choice can be adapted to each type of project without compromising on durability or design.
